Wow, from 31F to 93F. You sure this isn't somewhere in the Midwest of the US or in Canada, lol.
Too much variety for me. If the lowest was say 40F, and the highest 84F, then I would say not too bad. As it stands, I give it a 4 for being all over the place.
A little on the warm side, but not awful. I'll give it a 7.

The extreme min and max is a fairly typical May here.
Snow flurries in May?
With those crazy weather conditions, the decent monthly averages are misleading.
The month starts with 31°C and then temperature drop to 9°C just a week later. I'll rate it 5.

I could see that. 93F would be a little unusual for Philly, but not unheard of with about 4 May days like that every ten years. 31F however is more unusual. Our last frost date is in early April. We average around .02 days in May below 32F. Very rare indeed as the odds would be around 1 day every 50 years.

That's what I was thinking. Looks like a pretty typical May in Chicago. I'll give it a "7" in other words a "C" grade. If it had a few less 50 degree temps and a few more 70 degree temps, I would give it an "8" or "B"
