Having Roots in the South, I find Warm and Muggy weather more tolerable than Cold Sunny weather.

3 month of cold (NON-SNOW) weather is much more tolerable.

But then again, it's more likely to get the flu in such cold dry weather (anything but the stomach virus for me). But I just hate hot humid weather and I can't stand it.

I'll take cold anyday. You can always add a layer if cold. If hot you can't go less than one layer
