The winters are already better than those in Kentucky.

That's true, it looks pretty cold there. The other 9 months are infinitely better though.

If all 12 months here was tweaked, I would have a perfect climate!!! BREAKIN' NEWS! WOW!

I still don't see the point in this thread.

This is a great thread.

If London's summer was 8C hotter than it would make London very close to my dream climate. Winters would just need to be a bit warmer.

I will say that I use to go Britishexpats forum and a lot of the Brits were not happy with the British summer and wished that it was hotter and more like the Australia summer. On here there seems to be more cold lovers including in Britain.

Depends what you mean by "better". Don't forget we have cold lovers on here, lol.

But some parts of Kentucky have highs in December and February in the upper 40's, even slightly warmer than London. Combine that with a much sunnier winter with a higher sun angle, and I don't really think it is much worse than London. Damp cold can feel just as raw as dry lower temperatures in winter.

I've seen that forum. I also noticed that a lot of British Expats don't like Australia and the US after a while and move back. I've even read where some came to dislike the dry, sunny climate in parts of Australia.

That's true which is quite common when emigrating to another country which can be a large culture shock even with Australa/the US being other English speaking countries. Another thing a lot of expats have a hard time dealing with is being away from their families.

I do have to admit that Brits or at least the ones on that forum seemed to complain alot. They like to say it's too hot, too cold, too dry, too wet etc.

I presume the statement about Kentucky was directed at me since I live there, in which would have hardly been a consideration!
