I believe it cause the Tulsa area was fairly warm this morning according to TWC. Their weather is MUCH nicer then mine is and I live straight north of there, but it's about 600 miles north. I checked and they're supposed to hit 67 today~84 Thurs. and 83 Wed. That sounds great to me.

This isn't my weather, BUT I'm wondering how many record lows have been broken these past couple days. We have friends in NJ and their low was 5 degrees yesterday and their record low was 6~set in 1950. This morning it was minus 4 there so that'll be another record breaker. That's probably not isolated right now.

The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Freezing
Rain Advisory... which is in effect until 1 PM akst this
afternoon. The Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled.

Snow early this morning will change to freezing rain. Up to one
tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is possible before
temperatures warm above freezing this afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
