On the whole though, we have had a wonderful Spring, plenty of rains to turn everything lush and no late frost to kill it. Everything is flowering beautifully and the green color is so vibrant from all the rains.

I'm quite enjoying this weather cause who knows when we will have it so nice again!
For me, 60's is good but 80's is still an improvement... and I'd still like to see heat indexes in 90's F in April. It's 40's here, pretty cold but not too bad when the sun's out; roughly half the day it's been sunny.

Glad you're enjoying spring anyways.

Someday I hope to live somewhere so warm, it's barely cool enough that the spring flowers won't wither from the heat of the sun.

2008 has to be the hottest year in LA ever. Everytime we have a heat wave, which is often lately, w almost always break a record. Yesterday was 93*. Sadly, today was only in the upper 60's/mid 70's. Freezing compared to this weekend at only 59* right now. I needa move to Vegas.

Possibly a freeze in metro Atlanta in late April? Unusual to say the least, our last freeze recorded was May 3rd. There's no way ATL could be later than that.

Well, it looks like we have pretty much missed Autumn, except for the 2 weeks of mild haze and smoke earlier this month.

Overnight low was 42F/6C in the city, the high a miserable, cloudy 58F/15C DESPITE forecasts of fine sunshine and mid 60's

A completely wintry forecast for us. I am very, very disgusted.

Thu ....... 52 / 60 .... rain
Fri ......... 50 / 62 .... showers
Sat ....... 52 / 66 .... mainly fine
Sun ....... 52 / 64 .... fine
Mon ...... 55 / 64 .... showers
Tue ....... 52 / 62 .... showers
Wed ...... 50 / 59 .... showers
