ILNC, you have my sympathy. I'm sorry about your Aunt. If we weren't in different locations, I'd say we are cousins. My Aunt just passed away, too. We just went over 500 miles to a funeral last week and luckily, this one is right here.
Robyn, your weather sounds gorgeous!! I know Nameless is tired of it already though. How far apart do the two of you live?
It's a very nice 63 degrees here. The day was kind of chilly though because I doubt that we hit 70.
Duncan is about 75 miles S-SW of me. We're a touch cooler in winter but no different in summer as far as I can tell.
brings back so many beautiful memories of summer here, sitting outside in the 80-90ºF heat at midnight, watching the lightning dancing across the horizon.....absolute heaven

Our forecast for tomorrow is supposed to be ONE degree cooler, but with higher winds... Whoo Hoo??

Winter is forecast to be colder than normal aswell, and going by the weather of the last 3 months , that is VERY BELIEVABLE However, s*** winters have been known to give way to awesome summers

Anthony, are you guys lacking in rain down there? It's raining her right now and we've had several good rains this spring. The Black Hills are finally out of their drought so the waterfalls are doing beautifully and the streams are full and it's finally lush and green out there again. (Just saw recent pics a friend took last weekend) I think there are plenty of areas of the country who would be happy to share their rain with you.
AUS, do you mean that in Centigrade? If it's Fahrenheit, I feel sorry for you cause that's chilly.
It's 65 degrees here this morning and we're supposed to hit 71 today. Our average for today is 77 so we're pretty close.

High pressure will dominate the weather for the next several days across the area. This will keep us on the mostly dry side over the next several days. We will continue to stay hot and humid during the days. We will continue to say unseasonably warm during the nights. All of the organized rain and storms will be well to the north of our area, where low pressure will continue to dominate the weather. A few isolated storms may stray our way over the next several days breaking off of the activity to the north. Otherwise, little if anything expected to change our hot and dry weather pattern through the at least this weekend.
