Well do you own a shovel? See if the neighbor will come over and use it to do your walk.

Oh yeah, a couple of shovels, and a couple of kids to power them as well LOL

Actually I have a friend stopping by with his truck and he is going to plow it back for me today.

Chicagoland's high was 28, low of 22. The rest of the week is in the upper 30s, one day in the 40s.

A beautiful, clear day in SoCal around 58* currently. Should go down to around 45* tonight. That's higher than most of your highs! Rain coming tomorrow. I like rain. It's weird. I'm sure you guys heard about the drought in SoCal last year and we only had 3.02 inches of rain. Well, so far since only November, we've had 2.7 inches. I hope we relieve ourselves of this drought. I do feel bad for you guys in Atlanta though. We know how you feel out here.

It is hovering around 21o at dusk. But it feels colder and we've had nothing but snow, snow, snow.

Do Australians always expect outdoor-comfort?

To Canadians, especially like myself, it is a strange phenonmena, surprising, sometimes confusing and a rare treat.

It might never be "warm" in the summer again,
there might be nothing you can do about it,
(I want it to STAY above 85 F or 30 C!... Ya right, not gonna happen in Canada)
so why not try to make the best of it?
That's what I'm doing.

For years, I was cold whenever it was under 65-80 F, about 300-320 days a year.

I've become creative at getting warm (or hot) and staying that way including building lean muscle mass to insulate my core and coincidentally it boosts my core-temp.

I am in central NH visting family for the holidays and the weather has been great. A few snowfalls have occured and we now have about 12 inches of snow on the ground. The wind was a little on the strong side today, however.
