and WOW!! you guys have seriously had some very cool weather lately, this is probably the earliest sign of fall, are leaves starting to change?
Ha, not yet. I remember taking a picture of the first leaf I saw changed last year, that was on September 25th. That tree never even leafed out this year. It's been humid so the lows haven't gone below 65 this week. Yesterday only ranged from 64-68, odd for mid-August Not that I'm complaining, my window is open and the AC is off for about the first time ever in the Summer

A comfy 79F right now. Rain has finally let up a little. It is still raining on the southern side of town, and in the county to the south of us... they REALLY don't need anymore! One small town about 30 minutes south of us (Waurika) got 12 inches of rain night before last! News said that they got 7 inches of it in only 3 hours.

OMG, that's a LOT of rain!!! The weather channel was showing pics of the Tx/Ar/Ok area yesterday. El Reno was supposed to have gotten a lot of rain. (Sorry, not familiar enough with Ok to know right off hands where that is from your house)

Plains, I know you're happy with your new location and your weather. I'd be SO miserable there cause I'm not even thrilled about our drop in temps and dewpoint. We've basically had two months of summer so far cause it was mid-June before we warmed up, which is unusual.

ILNC, I'd still love to trade ya.

It's 75 degrees/no heat index and we're heading for 81 degrees according to the forecast. We hit 84 yesterday, which is our exact average for the day. It's SO windy today though. Right now it says 15 gusting to 25, but IMHO that's inaccurate cause it's roaring. We are supposed to get winds gusting to 40 mph today. TWC probably won't mention it cause they're too worried about parts of Fla. that are having 30 mph winds. Not trying to minimize what has happened in some areas there~we'd just like a mention on occasion, too.
