I guess I shouldn't tell you this then. It's 60* in LA, during winter, at almost 9:00 pm.

Oh wow, I need an airline ticket to L.A.

SAB, what area of the U.S. is your summer humidity comparable to? I've been trying to get an idea of your climate, but just can't seem to pinpoint how it is there. AND what is your winter like?

It's cold here~well, not as cold as Alaska, but..... it's 18~windchill is 4 and it'll drop quite a bit yet before morning.

Was watching a show on Travel Channel about Australia. They said Coober Pedy was so hot that they build houses underground. I'm thinking Sab needs to move here to get away from "cold and miserable" Melbourne.

47. Yep 47 in Northern Maine this morning. It continued to get warmer all night even though they called for it to get colder with a high of 33 today. Rain has stopped, but I cannot get over how warm it is. Even the wind is warm. Looks like the jackets can stay in the closet today.

our climate is largely comparable to southern California, we seem to get winters similar to the "inland" empire" and summers that are a cross between San Diego and Phoenix.

The northern half of Victoria could be compared to somewhere like Bakersfield or "29 Palms".

The highest and lowest temps (celcius) for major centers include:

Melbourne (capital) .................... -2.8 / 45.6
Wangaratta (northeast inland) ..... -7.2 / 45.8
Mildura (northwest inland) ........... -5.0 / 50.8
