I know that you love that kind of weather and I'm glad you got to move to where you feel good. I seem to have a problem physically when it gets cold and emotionally, too. Still think I have SAD. It hasn't hit yet, but winters are such downers for me.
I have a friend who suffers from SAD as well. Luckily, the Plains is a sunnier part of the country compared with other regions at a similar latitude.
The less intense sun angle and higher latitude are not a big deal for me considering I have Norwegian heritage. The latitude of Norway and Sweden are nearly 60N latitude! Now that is what I call "northern exposure"

Perfect right now in Dallas. We've got 78 at D/FW International. And we're going to have a cold front moving through on Wednesday, and that's going to cool things down further. It looks like the mid to upper 40s for lows.
