Here's my thermometer at about 3:30pm this afternoon: (sorry for the crap quality, my camera is a POS)


and this is what 114 degrees looks like: (the blue thing on the fence is the thermometer):


A proper weather station near my place recorded 45.6C / 114F at 4:03pm.

114? Geez! I think the highest temp I have ever seen here in Texas was 111 or so.

It's currently 22 here in DFW. I'm ready for a warmup, my heater's constantly running and it's only set at 70 degrees.

You've been talking about it, now they are covering it on the news due to the tennis tournament!

I'm not a heat lover, I would be very unhappy! I only experienced extreme warm weather once in the middle 90's in the Chicago area and that was enough!
