55 degrees!!! Jammie, are you kidding me???? Send that here, please!
YES, shocking isn't it? We do have a few nice days here and there during our winters. I just remember the more remarkable ones like those around holidays. Christmas, 2004 (when we were vacationing), we watched the beautiful 50 degree weather reports that we hit that day. There was also a New Years Day that was exceptionally warm. It happens, but then it ends up getting cold again and that's what our forecast shows. Only this time, not horrific cold.
We actually hit 57 yesterday and that is only 2 degrees short of our record.
Right now it's 40 with a windchill of 31. It's not supposed to get much warmer then that, but considering that our avg. high is 29 right now, we're doing quite well.
Maximum: 3.4c/38.1f - highest of the month so far
Minimum: -3.4c/25.9f - joint lowest of the month
