Okay- hardcore weather enthusiasts!! Especially the ones that must have either snow, thunderstorms, heavy rain, humidity, extreme heat, cold, or any combination of the all to be happy!!! Here's your challenge! You must pick between the most boring climate in the world and my fictional highly-variable climate.
Here's Iquique's climate with literally almost no rainfall, very little temperature variation, and very low standard deviations. It's very comfortable but even a light rainshower is a once a decade event- Iquique - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Her's my extremely variable fictional climate, Stupidopolis- has an all time record low colder than Antarctica and an all time record high higher than Death Valley and crazy monsoonal rain in June and July and crazy 24/7 blizzard conditions in December as well as several bone dry months when the most extreme temperatures occur. //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...y-diverse.html
Which would you prefer to live in?

Stupidopolis - a boring climate is worse than any.
Just curious- would you choose Stupidopolis over my hometown's climate as well? I consider my climate too boring as well but will still choose it over any extreme weather conditions that could be lethal.

Probably not - only VERY boring climates are worse than Stupidopolis
Stupidopolis. In Iquique no month is comfortable (too warm and sunny, even in winter). In Stupidopolis November looks like a great month, provided that temps don't usually get near record low.

I voted for the chile climate because it has somewhat enjoyable temps. but if I had to chose between your hometown and stupidopolis then I chose stupidopolis.

Are you serious? You'd take winters with colder records than Vostok just to get your heat and monsoonal rain over our mild climate? I thought you were a hardcore cold hater!
I don't believe that anyone would pick 'Stupidopolis' over the Chilean climate or San Jose's climate, if such a climate existed.
