C+ due to the crazy standard deviation in winter.

I agree, too much change day to day in the winter. But I did check the SOD website, and over 70% of winter days between December 1st and March 1st are over 45F. That is a heck of a lot better than where I live.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Tupelo is 270 miles from the coast.

A B- for being a good four seasons climate but too wet year round and too hot and humid in summer. I would also prefer the winter averages slightly colder for more regular snow. The records show that the winters probably do have a lot of standard deviation though.

C-. Surprisingly the winters get little snow despite high precipitation.

C+

It gets extra + because the king of rock 'n roll, Elvis Presley was born in Tupelo.

D+ At least the drier part of the year is in the right place.

I wouldn't be so upset with the temperatures if the humidity weren't so d**n high.

Winters too cool (if not that cold). Summers too hot. Humidity too high.
