(I don't know if this is the right term in English)
The official station from my hometown has a thermal amplitude of just 49.0ºC since 1931, and I'm 150km away from the sea.
The all time records are 36.1ºC and -12.9ºC.

Vancouver doesn't have a huge range (about 40 to 50 degrees Celsius, depending on which station you use), but my hometown of Saskatoon has an all-time record high of 40.6°C / 105.1°F, and a record low of -50°C / -58°F, giving it a range of 90.6°C / 163.1°F.
