Really? Stayed in the suburbs of New Orleans for a couple months during the summer, and I envied the summer rain (I'm from California, where it never rains during the summer). It'll be 95-100 degrees and sunny, and just when it gets too hot, it starts pouring, everything cools off by 15-20 degrees instantly, and you get a good breeze on top of that.

It actually feels chilly even in that 80 degree rain--not to mention there's almost never any smog in New Orleans during the summer because of all that rain. I'd say it's incredibly refreshing.

Warmest rain which actually brought down the temperature:

Severe thunderstorm on July 19, 2013. Before the storm it was 34.9C. Afterwards it went down to 21.7C, over 13C cooler.

Warmest rain without bringing down the temperature:

A sprinkle on August 11, 2016, it was 33.6C and only a trace fell, temperature dropped, but only because it was late afternoon. It only made things feel more humid afterwards.

31 point something celsius in İzmit, Kocaeli Province.

The humidity that comes with it is terrible.

It was half sunny, half cloudy but at the same time it was raining. This kinda weather occurs here in summer. Since it is half sunny at the same time, it is hot.

Humidity is very annoying during that time.
