Latest snowfall in my lifetime = May 25, 1982.
Earliest snowfall in my lifetime = September 5, 1985.

1985 is also the only year to ever record snow in both May and September where I grew up (records span from 1928 to 2006).

Wow, that's impressive. 2008 in London (going by the Hampstead station) was similar in that it had lying snow on 6th April and 28th October, both the latest and earliest snows of recent years. Oddly enough, those were the only snow covers of more than 1cm all year, the other two dustings being in March and November.

Latest: (just a few flurries): June 4th, 2011

Both near Saskatoon, SK, Canada.

I've only lived here for ten years so I'm sure the worst is yet to come! A nearby town got its biggest dump of snow EVER on May 29th-30th, 1982. I think it was 14 inches.

Update: the latest snowfall I've experienced actually was at 13th May 2000, I just was too young then to notice that.
