In recent years 0c has been recorded within London (not the centre I don't think ) Infact last year my college weather station recorded a sub-zero high back in December.

LOL, 70s are way too damn common here in the Winter

I consider any climate with an average winter temperature above 50 F (10 C) to have a warm winter. Above 65 F (18+ C) is hot in winter IMO.

10ºC and more if it's not windy.
Average max is 6ºC

The all-time highs for December-February period are 17.1ºC/15.2ºC/17.6ºC

Sounds similar to Nashville. How do you like Nashville's climate?

Liked it a lot. I drove through Knoxville while making my 1 day road trip to Atlanta. I believe Nashville has a very similar climate.
