From Hyslop Field, North of Corvallis, Oregon:

Ave Max 77.8 (25.4); +1.3 (0.72)
Ave Min 48.7 (9.28); +0.9 (0.5)
Average for the month 63.25 (17.4); 1.34 (0.74) above long term mean; 1.1 (0.61) above the 1991-2020 normals.
Precipitation 2.84 inches (72.1 mm) +1.51 (38.4)

A slightly warmer and significantly wetter than average month. We had a shde over 200% of normal rainfall. But since September is generally a rather dry month in our part of the world, it still wasn't very much. It did help with our wildfire situation.
Other than the extra rainfall, September was a plain vanilla month.
What are we looking forward to for October? The Climate Prediction center is progging a bang on normal month with respect to temperatures and a little more than average precipitation.

September was a much better month than that awful August that preceded it. More sun, higher avg. max temp and much warmer spell in the first half. It was a decent month generally.

Temps averaged near normal (-0.2F). Precip above normal (+2.97").

Was summer-like with heat and humidity to start the month and mid-month. Had two periods of low humidity and cooler nights. Received some heavy rainfall from Hurricane Nicholas on Sept 14.

I got a good bit more rain than the airport with 9.78" for the month (I received more from training t-storms the evening of Sept 5 and also got more from Hurricane Nicholas).

Lowest max: 77F
Highest min: 76F

Days 90F or above: 13

Days with thunder: 7

Highest dewpoint: 78F
Lowest dewpoint: 49F
Average dewpoint: 67.7F
