Where I live we get about 325 days per year where the high temperature is above 0C/32F. The province varies from 216 days in the southeast to 364.9 days in the southwest... https://mapsengine.google.com/map/vi...U.k0UJUmv9nItI

I get ice days maybe once every 2/3 years, so between 364/365.
This number would be around 360 if the temperature was 1ºC or less

Longterm average here would 347/348 days

Period 1971-2000: 351/352 days

Period 1981-2010: also 351/352 days

So usually we get about 15 ice days per year.

365, but 366 if it's a leap year.

With a record low maximum of 4C/40F (40 years ago), an ice day would probably be a 1 in 100+ year event.

The 4C day here was the only day I've seen with an average temp below freezing.

Note: I'm asking how many days per year is the daily max above freezing.
