We usually get rain when temperatures are in the 45-65 F range here......never cold enough to snow and never warm enough to "play" in the rain wearing summer clothes. Warmest rain I've ever seen here is around 70 F and coldest rain is around 40 F. I've only experienced true "warm rain" on my trip to Florida and also some very light sprinkles in Hawaii once as well. I loved being able to wear shorts and a tank top and run around in the rain.
warm rain, we occasionally get warm rain in the LA Area, for example this year it rained throughout inland LA/IE with 90+ degree weather ex. Riverside, I was there the day it rained and the temps were 90s and 70 degree dew points so it did feel very tropical.
Otherwise we dont get warm rain, we hardly get any rain, Its usually not warm since december, january, and february are the months with the rain and they all average in the lower 70s.
Cool rain in the upper 60's feels nice on my skin. I can wear a roll sleeve rain jacket with shorts and enjoy the fresh water streaming across my arms & legs while still keeping my hair and body dry.
Warm rain feels like I am inside a sauna, and I don't want my clothes to feel sticky
