Is the best climate in the world, IMO, but may not be classified as "tropical". Ironically, when I started looking for a place to live, I thought tropical might be nice. After intensive research, I realized that mountains were my preferred climate. Go figure, opposite end of the spectrum. No, I don't live in the location I linked, but I live in a fairly similar one except for colder winters. (IMO, the best climate in the U.S.)
If it must be tropical, it might as well be wet and stormy year-round as well so my vote goes for equatorial cities like Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Singapore.
If we follow the Köppen classification (I don't like it), which characterizes tropical climates as the ones with all months averaging above 18C, then I'd choose a low montane area in the tropical Andes with mean temperatures about 18/21C all year round and no dry season.
