To the Australians who post here, does anyone know what the most continental place in Australia is? By continental I mean annual temperature range. If so, do you have data?
Thanks.

Yeah, you can have your low 20's days for a good 8-9 months of the year, with 3 of them rarely ever getting above 20C

Btw, for anyone interested, the most prolific and notorious troll is a creature known as "Canberras Weather" and resides on the Weatherzone forums, in the NSW section, particularly in this thread: NSW/ACT day to day weather - Weatherzone Forums

It seems to appear sporadically, but go back a several pages, or even do a search. Look for threads about heat in NSW. You won't be disappointed

"Canberra's Weather" also participates here: NSW Heatwave,Possible Afternoon Storms 20-23 December. - Weatherzone Forums

The Canberra crowd are always bemoaning the heat, strange when they get so much cold weather there. I only go on this forum sporadically.

The heatwave continues unabated. We had a high of 16 C today with non-stop drizzle. Tomorrow (a public holiday) looks like being a carbon copy of today. This is what I waited nine months for?

You know how I feel living here in Buxton I guess.

The common statement here for the weather is "Buxton's weather is 9 months of rain, wind and cold, then winter".

If we took those lows and changed the 30 to 20 that would be a warm Buxton summer high temp forecast

High summer here for the last week or so, with the cicadas making noise all day and all night. Once they drop back to only singing in daylight hours, summer is on the way out.
