Seriously, Some years the British weather just feels like this!
Anyone else here who hates the British climate? (Just for fun!)-cold.png
Cold Winters with no snow, cool summers with no sun! I sometimes think... "Why was I born here?"
To make it worse my Parents could have gone out and life in Australia, but they decided they would miss Britain to much! I blame my parents for this! I just hate Rain, Rain, Overcast skies, and more rain! LOL

Honestly yes I do. If we could get each month being the extreme of what we get it would be good.

Could be much worse considering the latitude. I found the weather fine in the south east but Buxton is truly a wet cold cloudy climate.

Winters are terrible in the UK, but on the other hand I envy the early springs and late autumns there. Summers are not anything to write home about.

I personally think the UK is pretty bad weather wise. Of course it's a personal thing, but we have a lack of heat, sun, storms, cold, snow etc. Most people on this forum would want at least one of those in their ideal climate, and some people seem to actually like cool, damp and gloomy weather!

At least it's comfortable year round I guess.

I'm one of few people who would enjoy British climate. I really dislike hot weather and I don't mind clouds or rain.

All the seasons are quite bad. Winters lack snow, and the summers aren't much different to here. Also, public transport goes to a standstill when light snow is on the ground, which has caused disruption when I went to London.

Well I think thats quite a big generalisation. Scotland and NI are different in that area.

The Southeast is good (B/B+), could be rainier and sunnier, but the themperatures are spot on (winters could be a bit warmer)
The rest of the country is a bit too chilly in the summer, but most are still C climates, while Ben Nevis, and some locations in northern ireland are D's

Ireland is even worse. Supports palm trees but Dublin didn't record a single temp above 25C this summer.
