Freezing line at 4000' is now off the coast. Everyone north of Richmond pretty much all snow. The darker blue line is -5° to -10°C which is entering NJ is dropping south as well, snow ratios increase, flakes fluffier.

While areas inland in Maryland is getting some snow...it looks like the coast is getting mostly rain.

This was on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland in the last hour:

2 inches here. This is how you figure out what the ratio is.

2 inches of snow melted into 0.20" liquid which means it was a 10:1 Ratio snow.
Pretty normal for near the coast.

If the storm was dropping 1 inch of liquid this would have been 10 inches of snow.

Oh god, looks like we will get pounded today. As long as it stays below 1', I am happy. Above 1' is way too much snow, even for a chill lover.

Still snowing very heavily. Accumulation is around 5.3" in Rutgers Busch campus. This one is quite powerful and will surely provide us with a deep week long snow pack since temperatures will fail to rise above freezing till Saturday.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! .

And those in South Florida have to deal with 78 F weather and Brutal humidity. Sucks for them .

My college town is most likely going to get a white Christmas, looks like we'll have around 4 cm by the end of the snow today, plus another 15cm at the end of the week. The Sun is very weak at this time of year, and daily highs in the 14 day forecast range from -10C to -1C and daily lows of -15C to -4C. My parents' place where I'll spend Christmas is also looking like it'll get a good amount of snow on Fri/Sat and subzero temps through to at least Dec 25.
