What's the most sub-zero readings in a year in Grand Forks history? And what's the latest sub-10 F reading in Grand Forks? I'm assuming mid-late April? (Sorry for all the questions...)
And yeah, I noticed you guys are having quite the December up there, with some brutal cold possible the week of Dec 22-28. Seems like any "warm-up" that will occur in Grand Forks is very brief. Hopefully this can last into January.
And it's good to see a fellow cold lover as well, especially in a place like Grand Forks . It easily disproves the silly theory some people on here make that cold lovers only like the cold because they haven't experienced it

I looked it up and most number of days with a sub zero reading was 87 in 1978.....most in the past 10 years was 64 in 2008. Did you latest mean latest sub -10F or 10F ? I looked up both latest sub -10F reading is March 26 (mean late Feb) and latest sub 10F reading is April 27 (though mean is late March)
I have always liked cold over the heat and and loved weather so glad to be a weather forecaster in an area I want to live in. I tolerate cold way better than heat and I tolerate cloudy days better than sunny days.
