How many days of over 20c (daytime high) can you expect in October on average in your location? I usually do not expect any 20 degrees days here in October, but they do happen occasionally... In 2011 in even reach 29c and 20c once in late October but that's way above average.

With a bit of luck Id say I can expect 1 day of 20c or more in October, but not every year.

Don't know. The BOM doesn't publish the average days over 20C for each month, only from 30C onwards.

Looking at Oct 2012, it was pretty close to the long term average, and it had 15 days over 20C.

However, this current September also recorded 15 days above 20C, and the average low is actually higher than in Oct 2012.

Every day of the month should see a high of at least 20c but it is possible that an early season cold front might cause the temp to fall below 20c for a day or 2 around halloween. But I doubt it, fall doesn't start here normally until early to mid november.

14 days of 20C or more. Over 12 days of over 20C.

We average 6 days over 75F, and over 2 days 80F or above. In fact, 80's F are forecasted this week.
