Richmond is a suburb of Sydney. Since it's further inland it will have higher diurnal ranges and cooler lows. Thoughts on its climate?

I rather like its cool nights (which provide a relief in the summers and make winters feel, well, wintry). So, a B+...

I appreciate the cooler summer nights but overall I prefer Sydney's coastal temps. Lithgow 50ks to west has a far more interesting climate in my opinion.

A- assuming 2600+ sunshine hours.

I wonder which weather station in the Sydney area is most representative of the climate experienced by most Sydney residents?

Solid B. Not one of my favorite Sydney suburbs as I like it closer to the coast but still very good IMO

I give it a B. It's like the valleys near the central coast of California temperature-wise without the summer dry season. Looks lush and comfortable but I do prefer a little winter chill.

To most of us living in the west or inland, it has to be Sydney Olympic Park, generally speaking.

You can also try Parramatta and Liverpool, which are highly populous areas in Sydney's west.

Richmond and Penrith are further inland and only a small portion of us live there. So I wouldn't say their climate represent us.

Summer is too long and on the hot side. I like though how the rain is distributed.
Other downside is the mild winter.
A solid C for me.

The winter nights are rather cold. So it is kinda chilly.
