This town is called the "typical Australian country town", and is mentioned in many Australian songs and poems. Its climate also happens to be one of the best in Australia, IMO. I give it an A-, it needs some work on winter rain and temperatures but everything else is pretty good.

C-

Summers may be hot but their nights are pleasant. Winters are a bit chilly.

B-

The summers are a bit hot but the nights look comfortable and the winters are mild yet a little chilly which is a good thing.

Seems pretty nice from Sept-Dec and Mar-May. If it's reasonably sunny it's an A from me.

I'd estimate the sunshine hours are at about 2,700hrs.

As an American I'm just floored when I see these different climates of Australia and always the record low is so high compared to any similar town at that latitude in the US. 22F for a place at 35S is proof that Australia is really never subjected to true polar air. Australia really is very lucky in the climate department. If only we could have such moderation in our climate here. I strongly dislike the climate of North America in all its forms. Just too darn susceptible to inhospitable air right from the north pole that has no business being down at mid latitudes. North America is one huge epic climate fail.

C. If the summer was a bit cooler, it would be a B.

C+ for me. Too dry, but temperatures are good.

This was my hood for awhile (I lived near Adelong) Temperatures seemed nice for the most part in summer, and winter was pretty tame - not as frosty as I was use to, but it did sleet.

Yep, likewise there are some climates here where the average high in summer is lower than that of equivalent Amercian cities, and especially the lows - although the record highs are usually hotter.
