Is the Central Park July avg low the warmest on record? Flipping through the Preliminary Monthly Climate Data reports here reveals LGA averaged 74.9 F for a low in July 2010
It's also somewhat interesting to see how JFK usually has the coldest monthly avg lows in winter despite being the most maritime of the three stations --- UHI at work again!
Wettest March ever (and probably the coolest as well)
A cool and dull spring overall, as in the rest of France and Europe, with May failing to hit even 22C despite above average sunshine, and coolish June highs

Very stable summer temperatures - highest in the whole year was 31.7C
A gloomy but dry October, but a wet and sunny December

Rimini-Marina Centro (urban area)
A VERY atypical year for Eugene and the western PNW as a whole. If it hadn't been for the typhoon remnants in late September, 2013 would've been on the dry side of semi-arid.
The first 14 or so days of December was a nice closer for 2013 although the rest of the month was very boring. Luckily, I left on December 9th for Sydney where it was nice and sunny almost every day.
No real thunderstorms to speak of though.
Where I was located the temperature got up to 41C twice and 40C twice. Highest low was 22C. Very little rain as well relative to the "average"...
Going from -23C to 28C and then 41C was pretty interesting.
Here is how Canada's temperature compared to the 1981-2010 normal. Note that in parts of British Columbia 2013 was the warmest year on record (example: Smithers). Also note the quickness at which the temperature deviation changed moving into Alberta.
