High: 32.1C on 14 July 2010.
Low: -28.0C on an unknown day in January and another in February. (Don't care to dig into records further.)

Our new weather station's records, which has been up and running since August 2010:

high: 31.7C on 22 July 2011
low: -25.4C on 19 and 20 February 2011 and 19 January 2013.

July 2011: High of 107 F (41.7 C) with 48 % Humidity at 5:15 PM. UGH

Lowest:

Friday Night : Low of -4.3 F (-20.7 C) at 4:17 AM .

Tyler, Texas - record high of all time, 115 degrees in 2011. The record low was in 1930 (I have no idea what the record low since 2000 is) and it was -3.

it was in July of 2006 I believe, that is the highest temp recorded in the city of Los Angeles

Nearest Malta station to me is Balzan:

Highest: 40.3C August 2000
Lowest: 3.1C February 2008

For Luqa Airport:

Highest: 41.6C July 2009
Lowest: 0.6C February 2001

The highest recorded temperature in LA was on September 27th 2010 when 40.6C/105F was recorded at LAX & 44.4C/112F was recorded at the USC Campus Downtown...

Canoga Park, in the San Fernando Valley which is within the city limits of LA did reach 116F/46.7C

This article states 113F as the high that day for downtown LA at USC, but the equipment stopped working so it may have possibly gotten a little higher...

It also states that the record high in Los Angeles county is 119F, recorded on July 22nd 2006 at Woodland Hills...
