salute to them, in oymyakon even schools don't close till -52C/-61.6F or below. here in comparison peope complain at above 32C/89.6F, or below 23C/73.4 high can make residents shiver due to house design, once again salute!!!

That's nuttin; Here in my Orange County suburb, they close schools if a) it rains more than a quarter of an inch which is declared a "stormwatch" by Southern California standards or b) any daytime high less than 65 F or nighttime low less than 45 F happens.
