Tangier for the shorter warm season. Sydney warms up way too quickly in spring due to continental westerlies, whereas in Tangier spring is a more gradual affair because of the maritime influence. The other three seasons are pretty much identical temperature wise. I'm not a fan of Med climates in general though due to the lack of weather for three or more months of the year in addition to the lack of any cold weather, but the moderate warm season temperatures of Tangier get it over the line.

I think it's an 'illusion' because the westerlies are dry and they bring clear conditions, but the temperature is usually in the cool range really. Only in rare occasions we get 30C+ heat in early spring. March (early autumn) is mostly hotter than November (late spring), if you haven't noticed.
So I don't think we "warm up too quickly" in spring. It's kind of an illusion since we associate clear, dry conditions with 'heat'. We're pretty much gradual in both transitional seasons.
So you would endure that very wet, gloomy winter ever year just for the "dryness in summer"?
