I've been updating the Tornado thread but will post this here too.

Aerial picture from Mayflower, Arkansas this evening.

Very unfortunate and sad situation out there. I can't stop to think before we built homes and populated areas Tornadoes would just scrape the landscape. Now we see the impacts because we're just in the way. I wonder when this area was built up. Without technology we wouldn't get these pics to share like this within the hour or so.

I hope Florida doesn't have tornados like that...

Its rediculous that people would still live in that state when that happens year in year out..

As been advertised by models for weeks... Unsettled.. wet, wet, wet... Pattern is blocked (Rex Block). Slow moving Low a culprit with series of fronts

Monday to Monday QPF total forecast. HPC thinks 4-5" of rain from VA to NYC next 7 days. 3-4" here.

A couple of days ago the models were advertising 3 inches of rain for us this week, but it now looks as if the heaviest rain will be north and east of us....

Yup. Local level different from in General. Wet and unsettled has been shown since mid April. Details will never be accurate.

It looks like we will see only the low 50's with rain tomorrow. At least its sunny and in the mid 60's today though.
