Oh wow, there's a little hail core on radar. 65dbz in front. Seeing reports of trees down as the line moves southeast. Stay Safe. heading right for LEX maaaybe will stay to the north.

At 3pm I hit my high for today of 75.8°F. It felt ok/comfortable.

Now at 7pm temp dropped to 66F but dewpoint rose to 52F and I feel it.

but look at the humidity as well... 40% this afternoon, 55% now. Not drizzling but overcast and feeling muggier.

I think I'm less tolerant of dewpoints rather then temps. I didn't mind mid 70s but now I mind mid 60s?

It looks like that map is showing drier than normal conditions for much of Louisiana unfortunately.

Here it comes. Skys are probably getting dark there now.

70mph wind gust report and trees down.

That front line is kicking up some winds! I don't see Funnel or Tornado reports so its most likely straight line and downbursts

Putting on a light show as well! Check out the lightning strikes.

Henry County Kentucky. I believe this is a front edge of it.

Take the CFSv2 long range with a grain of salt. Especially any precip forecasts. Just thought its interesting to monitor

I have no garage for my car, so the only option to protect it from hail is to put it under a tree which may blow over

The only negative about the warmer temperatures is that the stars, which are already somewhat dim, become even more obscured.

Saw some 65mph gusts around LEX and trees down. Any hail or damage there?

Agree. So true. Nothing like those crisp cool clear nights in the Fall and Winter. Especially for us we see the difference being near the coast

Nothing was harmed where I'm at.

Not even once did lightning contact the ground. It seems like big squall lines are always like that, and there has to be just an isolated pop-up storm in order to get the fun thunderclaps.
