Not only I can't believe there's still a snowpack around here, but I can't believe we're talking about a big snowstorm crossing the country next week. Awesome! lol Maybe I won't need to buy a new lawnmower this year.

Usually I am driving to work seeing green by now and liquid ponds/lakes. Everything still white and frozen. And we haven't gotten snow in 2 weeks. Haven't seen more than 2" fall since 3 weeks ago. Birds having a hard time finding food. No worms, no bugs, no grass, no sticks to reinforce their nests.

Check out NWS Heavy snow area thoughts. Just north of me. I assume they are going by Climo and nothing else.

Extremely pleasant in Nice yesterday with a maximum of 19.2°C, the warmest temperature since mid-November, along with abundant sunshine. The beach was full of people sunbathing.

Will do that tomorrow probably too, temperatures are forecast here to go up to 17°C (63°F) with sunshine. Bummer that the North Sea is still so cold.

And speaking of winter, this winter was more like autumn transferring into spring.
Only the days between January 20th and January 31st were really like winter.
