Good for a tropical climate. Great winters and not unbearable summers that are also probably tempered by a breeze. The precipitation is good, and so are the rainy days. What is the sunshine?

Yeah, high are a tad too high in the winter but overall It looks good by that chart.
Low amount of rain days for the amount of rain fall.
Another plus:
Earliest sunset is at 5:58PM.
The temperature data is optimistic. NIWA records for the last computable standard Tmeans (1951-1980)
show a Tmean for Jan & Feb of about 23.5C, August 18.3C, annual 20.9C, which is below the implied value of about 72.5F/22.5C
Rainfall data (total) is closer but not with the wild swings in the Wiki numbers - average 1951-1980 1691mm, monthly values ranging between 124mm and 162mm, so little variation, with a score of 89% using the method described in another thread on seasonal distribution.
Rain day count data from Pitcairn is very sparse and I don't accept the low numbers given - they look like someone's optimistic guess.
There is some sunshine data, but its consistency looks very doubtful. Mean probably around 2100-2200 hours.
C+. Very comfortable temperatures for such a rainy climate (most climates with such an large amount of rain all year are either too gloomy and maritime with cold rain or too hot and steamy with humid tropical rain). I do wish for more seasonal variation in temperatures though.
Seems a bit too maritime for my liking, but it has comfortable year round weather. Seeing the few rainy days (in contrast to the monthly average), I'm guessing it gets high amount of rainfall in one day, as instead of rain everyday.

See my note - rain day claims have no backing.
