I think anyone grading the Monterey climate a D grade or below must absolutely be putting us on. They may be normal otherwise, though. I felt a little guilty grading it a B (only due to recent drought).
I'm sorry to dig this one up but this is the best climate in the United States!(my opinion) Been there a few times in the summer and it was amazingly comfortable, albeit a bit cool but that is just right! I love the fog that rolls in during the early to mid morning and clears off until the fog (marine layer) rolls in again in the afternoon. It's pretty much comfort year-round! I love the cliffs along Highway 1 (Coast highway) and the sudden emergence of the redwoods along the coast! Makes me smile thinking of it!
