Other than that, anywhere along the northern Chilean coast and hinterland is also excellent for the so-called mild desert climate:

Either subtropical highland (Addis Ababa), cool summer Mediterranean (San Diego), mild desert (Swakopmund) or oceanic (Auckland) (may be it can be too cloudy for some people, but at least temperatures are pleasant year-round).

California coast is very good for mild climate lovers.

You probably couldn't do any better than Eureka, California. The annual range is very low, with very cool summers (never hot) and very mild winters.

Also a very beautiful town.

I was also at place called Pacific Palms recently, just south of Forster NSW, Pacific Ocean on one side and lakes on the other, there was no need for aircon even in the height of summer.
