That doesn't make a difference to me. My expectations are different because I live in a different region and at a different latitude. I barely consider my summer to have adequate temperatures, so anything below average is a failure.

Also warmer than your location, which is basically in between London and Paris in terms of summer highs.

I'm guessing your ideal locations are the Great Plains, or southern Russia/central Asia?

That's over now, and they're having temps much closer to average so far this year.

Yes pretty much. My area gets moderated by Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes in general. I would say South Dakota or Nebraska would be my ideal continental climates.

Of course it's warmer. It has continental climate. But our forecast calls for above average June at least. Only time will tell.
