I rented the Renault you had once and it was pretty efficient, but maybe there are different types of "powers" (sorry I'm not sure about the vocabulary) available...
I think he had a Tce, a 3-cylinder petrol turbo engine with a measly 90 bhp. Might be OK for a smaller car like the Clio, but not for what he rented. Sound like he's used to unnecessarily powerful gas guzzlers anyway.
Yeah I won't complain about our summer so far, bit annoyed that we still recorded below average sunshine for June, but the weekend onwards is looking good again, back up to the high 20s C

Very cool and rainy in Norwich apart from the day I moved here. Notably worse than anything you'd expect in London in July over the last 3 days. And to think, Norwich has an excellent climate compared to NI!
