Very cool afternoon for mid-September in Castilla y Leon and Northeast Portugal

9.9ºC at 1pm in my hometown
The lowest max for September is 8.5ºC here, but this is probably one of the coldest September 15th ever

I wouldn't mind cooler weather at this point. I still have friends already fearing the coming winter. Some Italians speak like we live in Finland...
LOL! Italy doesn't have a winter hardly!!!

Milan is colder than Dublin during winter.

Yeah but Italy wouldn't be a place where you'd go for snow.

What about the Alps?
It's snowier than Ireland that's for sure.

The Alps are a ski resort.

Sicily and Rome are not areas known for snow.

There's more to Italy than Rome and Sicily, last winter snowed a lot right by the beach in a lot of the adriatic, I think.

How much does it snow in Dublin or Cork, for example?

I think parts of Rome get a similar amount of snow as we do here. It's not only chilly in Spain/Portugal, it's 5c below average here today.

Er duh but as a whole Italy is not a cold country that would experience anything remotely wintry, after all the southern parts average highs of 16c in winter.

Dublin and Cork are not relevant, my location would have more snow and cold weather than Italy.
