5,6 mm today in Serres and 10,6 mm storm total from yesterday. Hmmm models showed that we would have heavy rainfalls that never arrived. :/
21,6 mm storm total in Ioannina after the thunderstorm. Again it is under of our expectations.

How the F**k is 15C in mid-October anything but spot on normal?

But wait, I have a solution for you.

15 is normal around the 15-20th. Most of those days are not 15, they are 14 or below. It is still chilly, is it not?

14 is below average, it's not like that graphic chicagogeorge posted saying that temps 2-4c above normal were cool.

You are forgetting that in a continental climate during the shoulder seasons, many time we get large day to day deviations which would equal out to normal by the end of the month

Look at this forecast

18C is about average for the month yet it's marked as "chilly" in the graphic, 24C is "mild" and 21C "pleasant"

It's within 2-3°C of normal, it's close enough I'd just call it near normal. Unless your climate is extremely consistent, but I'm not used to temperatures hovering that close to the average.

weather London 8 days: Rain risk - Wind - UV index - Sunshine hours

Also, you should really stop posting 14 day forecasts. The accuracy is generally poor past 8 days.

The same temperatures in October feel cooler to me than in spring, as I'm used to warmer weather. Even normal weather feels unexpectedly cool since the averages are dropping so fast.

Actually it is normal for october temperatures to fluctuate quite a bit. That said I have moved to a more continental climate than where I grew up and the fluctuation has lessened.

Also, I feel it also feels colder because the sunsets are quite a bit earlier than early may (which would have similar highs).
