I'd swap places with Sweden or Germany in a heartbeat. Superior weather and just better places to live full stop. The UK is a festering sh*thole and I want to leave as soon as possible. This is definitely not 'my' country anymore.

Wow, talk about a sense of patriotism. It's your country, you don't just give up on it, leave if you have to but curse your own country of origin? Idk.
Very stupid decision to exit the EU, I didn't expect that. That will lead to many economic problems and UK citizens will be stuck on a small island.
I think the same. This isn't 1816, Britain isn't such a powerful country as it was back in the days of the British Empire. Nowadays it's Germany and to a lesser degree France who pull all the strings in Europe

Politics wise Sweden is a million times better. The weather leaves a lot to be desired though. Can you imagine if a country had the politics of Sweden, the climate of Argentina, the safety of Japan, the architecture of Italy, the cuisine of Mexico, and the history of China? It would be like the best place ever to live
The people who want to live in another EU country will need much more than a plane/train ticket. Imagine if the US states became their own independent countries and everyone was stuck in their state forever because moving to another state required a visa that was hard to get.
The EU is FAR from being analogous to the USA in terms of political and economic unity much less cultural unity. And that's part of its Achilles Heel.
