Where are you getting this map from, and which model is that? Can't be the GFS 18z.

GEFS is a little better but I don't see anything above 25C for England

Canadian is worse for you but BAKES eastern Ukraine and Russia. Most likely overdone.

JMA not good either

EC just kills the UK and Scandinavia. Damn look at Russia though

^^

That's just one day though. Let's see the overall pattern

6-10 day averages don't look too bad

11-15 also shows a little above average

August: 21.6c, 219.4 hrs sun

Just had a look through Heathrow's data, and there are only 2 occasions in the record where a poor June and July gave way to an average August, 1998 and 2012.
Funny how 1993 was also crap here.

June: 20.3C
July: 20.4C
August: 23.8C
September: 23.1C

But I have noticed something here. If June is bad, September is nice. If July is bad, August is nice. There are usually at least 3 nice summer months.

I really like the climate of Mannheim, Germany. Basically a less rainier version of Seattle.

Can't see that happening, we would have to average a week of 27c highs for that to be correct.

Not really. Those are mean temperature departures. You could have milder minimums and near normal max temps.

Well that chart would give mean temps of 22c, so even with lows of 16-17c we would still be looking at highs of 27-28c. If we had normal highs we would be having lows of 20c, doesn't seem likely.
