Well if your last 3 years were less windy than normal, then you will have had years that are windier than normal. The last 3 years are NOT your averages, whereas the stats I posted are (and your last 3 years is still windier than all of London apart from Heathrow).

Ooh bit sensitive this one.

How ironic, you calling George a troll!

But you used some web site that may be wrong (unofficial data). I have to find the official stats from the NWS. But can't find info about wind speed for longer than 5 years.

That GEFS graph on that tweet has much of Europe painted in blue, so below average you would think. Kind of hard to tell for the UK

Maybe you should just leave - you clearly have better things to do with your time, unlike us children.

First off I used someone living in Athens Greece as an example.

Second no, nobody here thinks of the upper 70F's 25/26C is being warm during the middle of the summer. maybe mild or comfortable at best. Warm is 80F/27C to about 88F/31C by my local standards during the middle of the summer.

This isn't the current forecast, but is our local met office trolling when they state that 75F/25C is "cool"
the averages in summer are clearly higher, but the all-time highs not so much. 25-26c is warm for almost everyone on planet earth. no doubt.

Nope, just sat in my garden with a beer, enjoying the sunshine, which is what the other British posters should be doing, instead of moaning about charts, windspeeds and what other people regard as 'warm'.

No, instead you're moaning about other people moaning. You don't have to read this thread if you don't want to. You don't even have to read our posts - there's an ignore feature on this forum.

You always use unofficial data when referring to here.

Latest GFS run was cooler than the previous ones, though it's just one. No point obsessing over temperature anomalies for a week away when it will almost certainly change.
