Ditto. Cloudiness is the biggest drawback of our climate IMO. I'd add 50-70 hours of sun to our summer totals. Not fussed about winter really.

The highs may have been average, but the Means are above for both months in London right? Even though we tend to focus and care more about the highs (since we live in the daytime) climatology looks at the Mean temps.... Our June saw above average highs and lows, though our July high was just barely above average, again the lows were above....so far this August our high temp is 30.5C, but next week's cool shot will drop that down
I still think we will end up above average for the month of August

I like the interface better. Weather online looks like it was created by third graders.

You are very annoying.

Anyway, GFS has completely dropped the heat for the UK. No surprises there really. In fact, the heat pretty much stops at the English channel and pushes up into Benelux instead. UKMO still looks very warm or hot. Guess we'll see what ECM says. If ECM backs UKMO over GFS, I bet GFS will turn out to be right.. even though it was wrong last time about the heat.

Looks warmer than average, but doesn't look like "heat" over the UK. Seems to be aiming towards Central Europe

CFSv2 shows no big anomalies over western Europe while Russia get's torched in the 6-10 day

Canadian also looks above normal, with Russia cooking in the 6-10 day

Chicagogeorge is annoying because he doesn't like your climate. I am annoying because I don't like a web site based in the UK. That is my opinion after all. You don't have to agree with me. What's wrong with the UK users? Why do you all get offended by different opinions? No other users react like that.

I'll let dunno defend himself, but as for myself personally, I never ever get offended by negative views of our climate as I'm usually in agreement!
