No. 27.6C was the max there I believe. It only reached 17.7C here LOL! Not one second of sunshine either, although the dew point pretty much stayed around 16 or 17C all day, so it didn't feel quite as bad as it could've.

I'm out drinking in town all afternoon/night tomorrow, and fortunately the forecast is much better, so at least I can sit outside...

Yeah today was truly vile, but thankfully the forecast looks pretty good - sunshine tomorrow, warm for the bank holiday weekend.

Got soaked earlier on my way home from Sainsbury's though.

It's pretty much impossible to have good climates more than 50 degrees away from the equator. You can have good climates up to about 45-47 degrees latitude in special occasions, like in France or Argentina. But after that, not the Gulf Stream, not the Rockies, not the Southern Ocean can save you

You forgot to say 'in your opinion'.

British Islands are still good for their latitude,at same latitude in South America summers and winters are much more colder.

If you're not whiny there's plenty of "livable" climates more than 50 degrees from the Equator. Just because it isn't 70 F every day doesn't mean the climate sucks.

Wow that cold front must have sunk further south. I think WO had London at 32C...

They're amazing for their latitude, but still the British Islands are too cold and rainy. England won the climate lottery with the gulf stream and being on the west coast, but at such a high latitude you can only be so good, even with all the factors going in your favor

They are livable, but not enjoyable. The northernmost climate that gets an A from me would be Genoa (44N)

Seriously?
Other people have opinions too
Not everyone likes the same climate you do

IN MY OPINION, southeast British Columbia and southwest Alberta have very good climates. Now I don't really find any other places north of 50 outside of these areas to have what I consider "good climates" but there are still some relatively good climates for me in northcentral-northwest China and Kazakhstan. For example-Bayannur, China and Oral, Kazakhstan to name a few.
