Places like Lyon, Grenoble or better Saint-Etienne have seen heavy (i.e., 20 or 30 cm, not one meter) snow in late november. I have a hard time understanding how much snow there is on the picture I admit.
Of course these were exceptional events, but they happened in the past, so Stockholm being several degrees colder in november would lead to think it's even more common there, in theory.

SMHI says about 40cm fell, but there could be more because they only take official measurements once a day, so we'll find out tomorrow morning.
