The cold air has also affected in the south of Spain... a bit. Temperatures:
Almería airport 6.1ºC hit at 4:40
Cabo de Gata 11.1ºC hit at 8:30
Adra 9.4ºC hit at 8:30
Castell de Ferro 7.7ºC hit at 7:50
Motril 7.5ºC hit at 7:30
Nerja 8.5ºC at 5:50
Málaga 6.3ºC at 7:20
Málaga port 8.3ºC at 4:30
Tarifa 8.2ºC at 8:30
Cádiz 7.9ºC at 7:50
Sevilla 3.4ºC at 7:30
Ayamonte 6.5ºC at 8:50
Those temperatures are not cold or anything noteworthy for there though, these are the average January minimums for some of those places:
Unfortunately, I don't think we will even get a flake here. Scotland and NI clearly will get a bit, but us in the East, and down in the South East will get nothing. I'm genuinely rather envious of your forecast. I really wouldn't be surprised if you get a good few inches of snow. The Met Office ALWAYS underestimate when it comes to stuff like this too.
Some guys in Kent on another forum have been posting weather images from years gone by.. and damn, Kent was probably the snow capital of England at one point. They used to get so much snow on easterly winds. The North Sea used to act as a conveyor machine with cold air passing over warm water.
Not so much these days because easterlies don't happen as much as they used to. Who knows why.

I'm expecting about 10cm; depending on how unstable the air mass is. I need continuous showers to keep temp near 0c.
We experience historical moments... It snows in Ionian Sea and Aegean Sea and Athens and Thessaloniki at the same time!!! Unbelievable! Each region of these has snowfall with different weather patterns and they can't have snow at the same time!!! This low pressure is magical!
